Making an Arabic Rice Pudding

The most traditional Arabic rice pudding is made with a mix of rice and milk. Traditionally, pudding is served with a sweet sauce, such as syrup or a simple sugar paste, usually made from honey. Pudding is not only delicious but also a great way to settle a belly. In fact, many people prefer it over ordinary rice pudding because it is quicker to make and easier to store. 

Recipe for the Arabic Rice

The following recipe for the famous Arabic puddings is made with white rice. Take the uncooked white rice and add two teaspoons of dried rose water, one tablespoon of salt, and one-quarter teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Stir to mix well. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce the heat while stirring. Cover the pot tightly and let it steep for about ten minutes until the rice is done.

Then, in a clean bowl, add three to four cups of boiling water, enough to make it slightly simmering. Add three to four cups of sugar, a quarter teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and four to five whole eggs. Stir to combine and cover the Instant Microwave until it starts to set, around ten minutes.

The second step is to prepare the filling. Combine one tablespoon of flour, one tablespoon of sugar, one teaspoon of rosewater, and three to four tablespoons of pastry cream or milk. Once you have added these ingredients, pour them into a mixing bowl, and use an electric beater to beat the mixture until it becomes smooth and fluffy. Once this is done, you can now prepare to cook the rice pudding by filling the rectangular-serving dish with its contents and covering it with aluminum foil.

Next, put the steamed rice and mix it up until it is mixed thoroughly. Next, add the egg and mix it in with the rice until combined and all ingredients are covered in the aluminum foil. Finally, place the entire rectangle-serving dish into the microwave and cook it on the lowest setting for around ten minutes.

Once it is cooked, remove the dish from the microwave and pour water into the measuring cup that is provided by the manufacturer. Start stirring the ingredients and once you see that all the ingredients are mixed well, you can now pour the contents into your mixer. Start rolling the mixture until it comes to a rolling stage and removes it from the mold. Put the uncooked rice in the center of the uncooked rice and roll it up. Now, you can start pouring the custard into the mold and gently press down on the rolled rice until the custard reaches the rim of the mold.

Once the entire mixture is ready, you can now start using your multi strips to carefully pour the uncooked rice and milk mixture all over the prepared surface of the desert. Start with one measuring cup and once it is full, you can now start changing the cup that is empty until you are completely through all the cups that are used in the recipe. After all of the cups have been used, grab the remaining cup and pour all of the hot uncooked rice and milk mixture into your clean serving bowl.

Serve up this dessert with some freshly made apple cider syrup or honey and milk. The combination of syrup and apple cider will certainly be a welcome sight every morning when you open your refrigerator. The process of making this dessert is very easy, but it does take time to prepare all of the necessary materials. However, once you have gotten all of the necessary equipment and ingredients, you will definitely want to make another one so that you can enjoy the unique taste of Arabian Rice Pudding all day long.
